Ovigen Australia is a provider of genomically backed sheep breeding systems. The focus isn't just on increasing ASBVs for the sake of it, but on aligning a flock's genetic profile with specific market requirements (such as meat quality for high-end food companies).

Data-Driven Selection: Utilisation of genomic (DNA) testing to identify superior animals earlier in their life cycle, backed by large scale phenotypic testing and ongoing progeny testing. Utilising proprietary bioeconomic simulation modelling to move from static production indexes to real work profit driven analysis particular to an individual enterprise situation.
